SMS Program

SMS Consent Evidence

This page documents how a consumer opts in to text messages from Crystal Sells Toledo, published as plain static text so that it can be read and verified without filling in a form or running JavaScript. It exists for compliance review of the Crystal Sells Toledo A2P 10DLC messaging campaign.

This page does not collect consent. It contains no form, no checkbox you can tick, no submit button and no way to send anything to Crystal. Nothing on it enrolls anyone, changes anyone’s messaging preferences, or sends a message. The real opt-in happens only on the consumer form at crystalsellstoledo.com/home-value.

Actual SMS opt-in flow

The consumer form at crystalsellstoledo.com/home-value is a two-step form. The SMS consent checkbox is on step 2.

  1. The consumer visits https://crystalsellstoledo.com/home-value.
  2. Step 1 asks for the property address the consumer wants valued.
  3. Step 2 asks for contact information — name, email, phone, selling timeline and property condition — and then displays a section headed “How may Crystal follow up? Optional.”
  4. SMS consent is represented by its own separate checkbox inside that section.
  5. That SMS checkbox starts unchecked, is optional, is not required to submit the real estate inquiry, is separate from the automated / AI voice permission, and must be affirmatively selected by the consumer before any text message is permitted.
  6. The consumer can submit the underlying real estate inquiry with both communication-permission checkboxes left unchecked, and Crystal still replies by email or phone about what was asked for.

The consent control, exactly as it appears

What follows is a static reproduction of the section a consumer sees on step 2. The disclosure wording below is generated from the same source the website renders the live checkbox label from and the same source the server records as the wording a consumer agreed to, so it cannot drift from the real form. The boxes drawn here are pictures: they are not controls, and there is nothing on this page to submit.

Both boxes are shown unchecked because both ship unchecked. Neither is pre-selected, neither is required, and the two are separate permissions: agreeing to text messages does not grant permission for automated or AI voice calls, and agreeing to calls does not grant permission for text messages. Each is recorded and revoked on its own.

The image below is a screenshot of step 2 of the real form, captured automatically from a build of this website by tools/consent-evidence-shot.mjs. The contact fields are empty and no consumer information appears in it. The text of the disclosure reproduced above this image is the authoritative copy; the screenshot shows where a consumer encounters it.

Step 2 of 2 of the Crystal Sells Toledo home valuation form. The first name, last
name, email, phone, timeline, condition and notes fields are all empty. Below
them, a bordered section headed "How may Crystal follow up? Optional"
contains two separate checkboxes, both unchecked. The first is the text-message
permission and the second is the separate automated and AI voice permission; each
is followed by its full disclosure, reproduced as text above this image. A note
under them reads that leaving these unticked will not affect your request.
Underneath the section are the submit button and a link back to the address
                  step.

Where the SMS policies are

The messaging program has its own dedicated policies, scoped to SMS only:

The SMS Privacy Policy states that mobile information and SMS opt-in consent are not shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes, and that text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third parties for their marketing or promotional purposes.

The separate Website Privacy Policy covers the rest of the website and is not the policy for this messaging campaign.
